The Knights Templar Trust

The Trust was formed in 2003 and is registered as a Charity with the Charity Commission for England and Wales under Number 1093962. Its aim is:

"TO RELIEVE INDIVIDUALS RESIDENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND WORLD-WIDE WHO ARE SICK OR DISABLED OR DISADVANTAGED OR IN ANY WAY IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES"

Fundraising and charitable activities include:

  • 2014
    • Argentina
      • The creation of an ambulance service to serve the northern state of Mendoza, which to date had no such cover. The first ambulance is now in service, and if anyone would like to contribute to this much needed initiative please email Sir Cesar Imbellone KT at imbellone@me.com for more information and ways of helping sustain this enterprise
      • Much work had been achieved on the creation of a Latin American Preceptory, based in Buenos Aires. It is intended that this "Priory" will initially encompass all the good works currently being done by every one of our Knights and Associates in all the various countries in South and Central Latin America

      • Fundraising for the charity Street Children
      • Fundraising via the West Cornwall cycle challenge for the charity Shelterbox. The funds raised were sent to Haiti to assist those affected by the earthquake
      • Thousands of pounds raised for Cornwall Hospice care and Macmillan cancer support, via gala auctions and the "Fan Dance" challenge based in part on the SAS selection process in the Brecon Beacons, followed by the "twin peaks" challenge in Snowdonia Nation Park
